Well....I have a stupid cold. I posted on my facebook asking for ideas, but now I am taking to my blog. If anyone has any ideas to help me get rid of this thing quickly, I am desperate! Thanks :)
I just did a Vlog about something called "Esberitox". I have used it for years and I swear by it. It's available at Whole Foods and many Vitamin stores (not GNC). It's labeled as "super charged Echinacea"...works wonders and cuts the length of colds :)
Remember the cold I had a few weeks ago? Someone gave me a bottle of zinc tablets that dissolve in your mouth and taste good, too. That really helped and I gave them to Gracie and her cold was zapped.
Drink lots of liquids. Warm liquids sooth the throat, I think. Try tea or warmed lemonade. Eat warm soup. Take hot showers to help congestion. Use throat lozenges. Get lots of rest.
When I get a cold I like to use Traditional Medicinal Teas. They are herbal and they have one called Gypsy Cold Cure that works for me. It does taste horrible, but if you have a cold you don't notice. I will brew it with some regular tea or add honey.
They also have one (Breathe Easy) for all that stuffiness and Throat Coat for sore throats
I love when people comment on my blog...each comment makes me so happy! Please leave one and if you have your email address connected to your blogger account, I will try to email you back :)
