I was in Costco today and saw they had a ton of candy out. We try to buy our candy 1-2 weeks before Halloween.

ReplyDeleteI try to wait so that we don't eat too much but Hubby went to the commissary the other day & saw that it was out. Now I have tons of candy that I know will be gone before Halloween! Ugh...
ReplyDeleteNot yet... but there's plenty of time! There's no such thing as candy crisis here since Germans don't celebrate Halloween:P

ReplyDeleteI have bought some and the kids go nuts for it. I will buy my trick or treating candy about a week before. I make special bags for the neighbourhood kids.

ReplyDeleteI've learned that it's best to not buy it until the week of Halloween. Otherwise, I'll eat it.

ReplyDeleteWe usually buy the candy that we give out right before Halloween -- so we're not tempted to eat it all. But we usually buy a couple bags of our favorites before then -- just for us :-)

ReplyDeleteI have not bought it yet, probably about a week before Halloween. I do not want it staring me in the face all month long. If we already had it, I would probably eat it and need to go buy more before halloween.

ReplyDeleteWe never have trick or treaters, but I always buy one bag, usually the day of. I don't always get my favorites, but that, I guess, is s good thing!
ReplyDeleteNo I still don't know what we'll be doing for halloween, as in, are we staying home, going out, when where, etc. I'd kind of like to decide that first.
ReplyDeletethis sounds terrible but we don't hand out candy at our house, our street doesn't get that many kids so we take our kiddo to trick or treat at my parents and my mom always buys so much candy I don't bother

ReplyDeleteI'm not going to buy halloween candy, for the simple fact that we don't get trick or treaters...they have a thing in our town where they shut down main street, and all the businesses hand out candy...making it safer for the kids, and they get a lot of candy. If I bought some, I would just end up eating it. :)
ReplyDeleteNo, no Halloween candy. We don't really celebrate this holiday. We do go to church and participate in Hallelujah night so if we buy candy it is donated.
