Dinner Parties

I went to a dinner party tonight, which is something I don't normally do.  I am an extremely picky eater.  I have taste issues, texture issues...you name it, I have it LOL

When you go to a dinner party, do you put a little bit of everything on your plate and push it around?  Or do you only take the few things you do like?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...and might increase my attendance at dinner parties ;)

I definitely only take the things that I like.. unless someone urges me to try something... and I will politely take a very small amount. :)

I am very picky also! I just take a little of the things I like and usually one of those still has some odd flavor to it, but then I don't feel bad not eating it.

If I took a little of everything I didn't like, I would have a full plate of food when I was DONE eating! LOL

I totally agree with Felicia. I mostly take what I like, but will try other things, if pressed.

LOL, I'm the wrong person to ask because I am always happy when I'm not the one doing the cooking! And I like almost everything! I've seen people do both though, just take a little of what they like, or take a bit of everything and kind of push it around. Either one is fine for me, I'm just glad to have them there! So keep going!
