New Year's Resolutions

Image result for new years 2018

I decided to once again try to start blogging. What better time than the new year????  I normally don't even make new year's resolutions, but these are some things that I would really like to happen in the coming year.  I don't think any of them are extremely difficult to achieve, so hopefully they will all happen!

1. Blog at least once a week
2. Read at least one book per week
3. See my local family more often
4. Go to bed consistently earlier on work nights
5. Stop using the snooze button on work mornings
6. Hold Jack and Lenny (my guinea pigs) more often to see if I can get them to like me
7. Go to the gym at least twice per week
8. Go to yoga at least twice per week
9. Take Hunter (my doggy) to the dog park at least once per week (weather permitting)
10. Stay current on entering giveaways (through online-sweepstakes.com)

Do you have any resolutions this year?

Hello,

I do not make resolutions, I just try to do a lot on your list. I would not stress over not being able to do them all. Family should always come first.

Have a great new day, new week and a happy New Year!

Hi Becca - good to see you back blogging ... and yes to most of those - but not the last one: and in fact I don't do yoga, nor gym, and have no dog .. ah well walks can slot in there with some other exercise thrown in ... !

Good luck with the year ahead ... cheers Hilary

I haven't made resolutions for years. I do have an ongoing perpetual project list, though. More to write down ideas and plans so I don't forget them--LOL! There's not a time limit on any of them. The majority of the list are art & craft projects. They're categorized by mediums or techniques and things are added during the year. Takes all the pressure off.

Thanks so much for stopping by and the kind things you said. Meant a lot to me. You are returning to blogging and I guess I am going to hang around for a while longer. ;) Happy 2018!!

I made a ton of resolutions this year. I have only posted about the bookish ones on the blog so far though. I may post about the personal ones later.

Your resolutions are really well rounded. I'm with you on the snooze button...that's a tough one.

Mine that I can't really blog about is to try and find a new job. I just don't always know who looks at my blog. I can't talk about finding a new job if my co-workers happen to read it.

I also want to teach my 9 year old how to do some wood carving, and leather stamping. I think he'd enjoy those things.

Awesome! I look forward to seeing you at least once a week!
I'm looking for better work balance (more fun, actually) and more "me-ness" in my posts, even the sponsored ones.

I avoid them !! :) I do have vague ideas of what I want to do but if I make resolutions they fall by the wayside lol :)

Yahoo! Back to blogging. I'm planning on being more consistent blogging this year and made a list of things I am wanting to accomplish this year. :)

Hi Becca,

First of all, my nice friend, an absolute delight to see another blog post from your good self.

I've no doubt those will be positive resolutions for you. Just don't put too much pressure on yourself.

My resolution is the same as every other year and that's too distance myself from negative people who do their best to sabotage my right to a peaceful, positive life.

Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful, hopeful 2018, Becca.

Gary 😀

Last time I made a resolution was for 2003. I'm still keeping that one though :-) I take resolutions very seriously. I like yours!

Wow, one book a week! That is a big goal... I love it!!

Hi Becca, your resolutions all seem doable (apart from reading one book a week! Do people really read that fast?). You will feel so much better by going bed earlier on work nights that the rest will be a breeze...I've never been one for making resolutions. Setting small goals throughout the year works better for me.

xx
