So You Think You Can Dance - New York and Miami Auditions

Season 7...yay!  This is another show that my old Blockbuster boss got me into.  And.....the fact that it starts the day after American Idol helps me deal with Idol withdrawal!

I'm so intrigued that they are bringing back 10 old contestants, and only allowing 10 new contestants through.

I do admire that they started the show with 2 good auditions.  I hate when Idol starts with bad auditions.  Of course, they did show some bad ones, but the good ones made up for it!

And since I'm such a TV junkie...I just wanted to say I can't wait for Hell's Kitchen to start next week! :)

Do any of you watch either of these shows?

Freschetta Pizza - YUMMY

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Freschetta. All opinions are 100% mine.

I was recently lucky enough to be asked to sample Freschetta FlatBread with as many of my friends and family as I could feed LOL  My family was super excited to get to try a new kind of pizza.  We are all pizza lovers!  We normally go out for pizza lunch on Sundays after work, so it was really nice to get to enjoy pizza at home.

The FlatBread flavor choices are Zesty Italian, Roasted Garlic and Spinach, Pepperoni and 5-cheese.

Unfortunately, our local stores didn't have wonderful frozen pizza sections, so we were only able to try 1 flatbread pizza and 1 regular pizza.  We tried the 5-Cheese Flatbread and Natural Rising Pepperoni.  We were very pleased.  The sauce was tasty, the crust had a great flavor, and the cheese and pepperoni were both amazing.

Oh, and because I'm weird, I enjoyed it even more re-heated (in the oven to make it overly crunchy) the next day!  I am hoping to share this delicious pizza with my family up in Idaho when I am there for the next 2 weeks also!

What Kind of Shirt Are You?

You Are a Long Sleeved Shirt

You are a modest person. You don't think too highly of yourself, and you're definitely not a show off.

You tend to be discreet in all aspects of your life. You value privacy.

You are a solid person. You are very dependable, and you enjoy having others depend on you.

You are thoughtful and actually very deep. You reject superficiality of every sort.

Yay, I like that Thom and I got the same result! :)

The Retro Pattern Test

You Are Unique

You are original and a total nonconformist. You take a lot of pride in doing your own thing.

In fact, you can be downright defiant at times. You don't like anyone telling you what to do.

While you are a rebel, you are also extremely tolerant and accepting. You think people should be themselves.

You are laid back and easy going. You refuse to participate in the rat race, and you're better off for it.

I like some of the description...what were your results?

American Idol - Top 3

I haven't blogged about Idol for a long time, but I guess it's time.

Casey James started by singing "Okay It's Alright With Me" by Eric Hutchinson.  I love this song!  The judges didn't love his performance.  But Kara said it was an unknown song...and I think it is a well-known, modern song.  But, I agreed with the judges, it was only okay.

Crystal Bowersox chose "Come To My Window" by Melissa Ethridge.  I'm not a huge fan of Melissa's voice, but the song is good.  I think I liked her version more than the judges did, but Simon was very complimentary!

Lee Dewyze sang "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.  I had never heard of the song before.  The judges loved his performance, and so did I!!!!

Kara and Randy's pick for Casey was "Daughters" by John Mayer.  The judges except for Simon loved it.  I thought it was better than his 1st, but I'm thinking Casey is gonna be the one to go home tomorrow night.

Ellen picked "Maybe I'm Amazed" by Paul McCartney for Crystal.  The judges really liked it.  I enjoyed it, but I still think Lee is my favorite.  But I think Crystal will be back next week.

Simon chose "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley and someone else (haha) for Lee.  The audience loved it.  The judges loved it.  And I thought it was amazing.  It would take a lot for Lee to not win the show!

What do you think?

Fun Monday - Shoes

Thom over at Thom's Place 4 Well Whatever is hosting a meme today about shoes.  He says: Imelda Marcos apparently loved them. I despise them. We all have to use them. Shoes. What would we do without them? So please tell us about your shoes and pictures are encouraged.

While I spend most of my time walking around in socks, I love having tons of different shoes to pick from when I go out!

These are my crocs.  I probably wear them more than any other shoes.  I know everyone has an opinion about crocs.  I put off buying them for a long time, but finally gave in last summer when I found them in Idaho for $15.  I wore them the whole rest of my trip and just kinda never stopped!

I kind of only took a picture of these because I wore them to work today.  They are black Skechers with rhinestones on the side.  I bought them when I was looking for an all-black pair of shoes.  They are great, but not completely broken in yet, as I don't wear them THAT often.

These are my Skechers Shape-ups.  Can you tell I love Skechers yet?  I don't think I wear them often enough to get the full benefit out of them, but I do try to wear them every time I go on walks and to the gym sometimes.  I walked in them yesterday on dirt paths, so they are gross looking right now!

What Type of Berry Are You?

You Are a Açaí Berry

On the one hand, you tend to be very controversial. People are always talking about you and trying to figure you out.

On the other hand, you are quite wholesome and humble. You don't know what all of the fuss is about.

You are unsettled in your life. You're not sure what you want yet, and you're a bit of a searcher.

If there's one thing you know, it's that you crave adventure and travels. You want to see as much of the world as you can.

I like my results...even though I couldn't exactly describe what acai berry tastes like!

More Trip Pictures

Two "big" things we did were a car show in Gardnerville and Jeeping in Carson City.  Below are some pics

My mom and dad taught me to appreciate Woodys

This car had $1500 sparkly paint mixed into the paint

My mom made me include her in this pic...and I accidentally got my sister in the background

My grandparents stumbled by...don't even know what car they are all by!

Me and an old firetruck!

I fell in love with these ducks and followed them around LOL

This is my mom next to my uncle's Jeep...which he parked on a rock!

This is me on the little rock I climbed

This is my sister, who consistently climbed higher than I did.

Hope these pics were enjoyable :)  I know I had fun taking them!

Accomplishment!

I am a naturally disorganized person.  But when it gets to a certain point, messes bug me!  Thankfully, we have a bi-monthly cleaning girl, so I have to clean up my messes at least twice a month.  Last night and this morning were one of those times.  I then went to work and cleaned up a big chunk of my office.  And then when I finally got home for the evening, I cleaned out my car.  I feel so productive! :)

Are you organized?  Messy?  Think I'm a slob? haha
