Recipe Swap Monday - Puppy Chow for Humans

A few years ago a friend brought a dessert called "puppy chow" to work. It is amazing and addicting!!!!! If you love chocolate and/or peanut butter, you HAVE to try this.

9 cups Chex
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Put cereal in large bowl. Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour over Chex cereal, put into a large plastic bag with powdered sugar and shake well to coat. Spread mixture evenly on wax paper and allow to cool.

We made reindeer chow for the holidays last year. It's the same thing except take out peanut butter (peanut allergies) add melted marshmallows and toss the gooey mixture with extra marshmallows and holiday m&ms. After all the sugar we did away with the powdered sugar. It was delicious!

This is my most favorite meal! Yes, I eat this for dinner sometimes! LOL!

However, I make a smaller portion and leave out the butter. It isn't needed at all.
