Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. Thanks to Kailani at An Island Life for starting this fun for Friday. I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog . Please be sure to head over to her blog to say hello and sign the Mr. Linky there if you are participating.
I have another Aloha Friday that isn't exactly a question...
I have another Aloha Friday that isn't exactly a question...
Tell me about where you live. Is it a house, apartment, etc? One story, two, more? How many bedrooms and bathrooms are there? Do you have a backyard?
Our new house is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. That area is closed off by a door (that we never close lol). We have a super small front entry way, a coat closet, a living room, the dining room is my mom's office. Our kitchen table is actually in the kitchen eating area for once. Our kitchen is okay sized (our last kitchen really did not hold 2 people at one time). There is a small room off of the kitchen with counter space and cabinet space. We have a front and back yard. Both yards have multiple fruit trees! I think I covered everything ;)

We have a modest 3 bedroom, 2 bath with a large enough yard that the boys complain about mowing and weeding.
We have a very old small bungalow typical of the era it was built in. It is ~3-4 bedrooms (depending on what you use the upstairs for) and another room is barely big enough for a bed and anything else. We have 1 1/2 baths. Small backyard that is standard size for our area.
We live in a 2 story ranch-style home with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. I finally got a mud room and laundry room and a quasi-wrap around porch with a swing and rocking chairs. Now if only I could figure out how to grow grass up here in the mountains...
3 bdrm, 2 bath with a decent sized front and backyard and 2 car garage. 2 people to each bedroom. I wish the dining room and hall bath were a bit larger and we had a 2nd living area, but overall I like our house.
Here's my question: http://homewithpurpose.blogspot.com/2009/09/aloha-friday-91809-your-favorite-season.html
We live in a three bedroom house on ten acres in the country. It's too small for our six kids though so we're turning the garage into two more bedrooms and a cubby.
I've posted stuff on my Executive Mom blog about the house remodel.
We live in a two-story home with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We have a small backyard that I wish was bigger. :-)
We rent the basement apartment of a duplex (fourplex?). It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (with a jetted tub!!), a laundry room (hallelujah), and a small kitchen that doesn't have an oven or stove. Yes, that's correct. Thanks to a city zoning law, our landlord can't install an oven. Instead we have a countertop convection oven and a little butane stove.
What ought to be the backyard is a gravel parking lot for the fourplex.
But, it's near campus (my husband is in law school and I'll be finishing my degree this next year), and it's cheap - plus we love the neighborhood. It has its downsides, but for the next 3 years, this is home!
We live in our home which is a four bedroom (one tiny bedroom upstairs that makes the four) and 2 bathrooms. Nice little backyard. Calm neighborhood. I like here.
We live in a one story house of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. We don't have back yard.
We live in a townhouse with 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, full finished basement with no yard at all.
Happy friday!
We live in a house that we have rented for over 8 years. We have no grass to speak of. Mostly GA red dirt which gets washed away every time it rains. So now you can see lots of roots. Our house is a 3 bedroom 2 bath house.and it is only one story.
HAPPY HOUSE HUNTING :)
We have a three bedroom, one bath bungalow. We are a corner lot so our yard is to the side and front. However, we have a great park around the corner. I love our street and our neighbours (for the most part)
My house sounds incredibly similar to yours. I love my huge kitchen and large back yard.
We have a 3 bedroom split level with 2 baths. I absolutely love it even though I'd like to update the kitchen.
One story house, two bathrooms, three bedrooms, and a big backyard. We need to expand it though. We are growing out of it. Aloha and take care.

BTW- I watched the premiere of Fringe last night. It was awesome. Love that Pacey.
Very old farm house, 2 stories, kitchen, dining room, toy/office room, 2 bathrooms but one under construction, and 2 bedrooms upstairs.
We have a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath townhome with a postage stamp sized yard right now. However, in two weeks we are moving to a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath rancher on 0.89 acres. We are so excited to have a real yard and we'll have a garage too.
We have a 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom home on 3 acres. I have a huuuuge kitchen, but the bedrooms upstairs are puny, and if I had the amount of money it would take, I'd gut the entire floor and rebuild with a smarter layout. We have a huge skylight and open concept that that definitely makes the house bright all the way to the basement, but it's an older home, and the skylight needs to be replaced. The house gets mighty hot in the summer sun because of it! Love the place, but it isn't my dream home by any stretch...
I have a two story home with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. We also have a made-up bedroom downstairs for my oldest daughter.
We have decent sized yard as well. I love where we live!
I live in a small, 2 bedroom condo on the 3rd floor of my building. I have 1 1/2 bathrooms and a courtyard that doesn't really count as a backyard. :)
We have a tiny, little 3 bedroom slab house (no basement). We have a nice big backyard though.
We live in a two story raised ranch. Three bedrooms, 2 full baths. Nice big yard with a deck!
I think it is a 2 bed, 1 bath. The house is listed as 1.5 stories. It is on 2.5 acres of land.
It is an old farmhouse
We own our home; it has 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. It is a 2 1/2 story house with a walk-in basement. We live on 30 acres of land and so our neighbors are "way over there" which is nice. My hubby had it built to his design and specifications back in 2001 (before I met him). It's roomy and it's spacious and I'll have to say that I Love It!
We have a 2 story house that we built in 2005. 3 bedroom + den and 2.5 bath on 1/3 of an acre lot in the heart of town. We LOVE it!
We live in the lower half of a duplex with 2 very small bedrooms, a large kitchen, living room and dining room. We actually use the dining room as the living room and the living room as our computer room; it's pretty much one large room, separated by small walls, but a 6-7 foot opening. We have 1 very small bathroom, and a small yard that we were able to make look decent.
We live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch, circa 1952. We have done some remodeling, but the bathrooms are in desperate need of updating (pink tile..yup). We have a one car garage and 1/3 acre. Our yard is great for the kids, but I wish we had a screened in porch and a fence.
We own a two story home with four bedrooms, and two and a half baths. I love our backyard, even though its not the biggest. Our kitchen overlooks our family room, which I LOVE! I think that this house is such a great fit for us for now.
We have a Cape. Our first floor has an enclosed entry way, with an entrance to our garage, and also a 3 season porch. Then is our kitchen, which is the biggest room in our house, next is the bathroom, our master bedroom, and then the kids playroom. Through the living room you can go upstairs to 2 bedrooms. We have a big backyard with woods behind us. It's very nice and we've lived here for 4 years.
We live in a 2 story brick house. We have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We have a great but irregular yard...not exactly square and can't really be fenced in but it has a great hill for the kids to sled on and we love it. Late Aloha
We live in a 3-bedroom, 2½-bath townhouse. The backyard is minuscule, but it's bigger than the one we'll have when we live on a boat! Or smaller, depending how you see it. ;)
I live in a ONe story, 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath house with yes a huge yard
We live in a 3 bedriom 1 bath apartment on the third floor. Our plan is to have the two kids share a room and the third bedroom is being used as a play room (our youngest is still in a co-sleeper in our room right now).
we live in a 2 story, 4 bedroom with 2.5 baths. Our yard is pretty small, but we do have one.
We have a very simple one story home, with 3 beds/2 baths. Our kitchen is tiny, but I love that our rooms are pretty spacious. Our front yard is huge, and our backyard is a good size... Our home is a good size for me... not so big it's impossible to clean! LOL!
I will talk about my moms house.. i love it!
4 bedroom, 3 and a half bath..
beautiful!!!!
