Aloha Friday #34 - Amazon

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. Thanks to Kailani at An Island Life for starting this fun for Friday. I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog . Please be sure to head over to her blog to say hello and sign the Mr. Linky there if you are participating.

This week's question is purely selfish.  Do you use Amazon?  If so, what would you suggest I buy there with a gift certificate I received? Any specific product you highly recommend?

I received an end of the year thank you gift at the school I work for and have no idea what to get!

I love Amazon and have been shopping there for years. It depends on if you're purchasing something you want or need. I've purchased small appliances, bakeware, electronics, books, music, software, video games and the list goes on and on... I'm currently saving my gift cards for cookware, TV and a few kitchen gadgets.

Yes! I love Amazon. We live in a rural area so many times that is my best shopping option. I love Amazon for home wares and children's toys.

I think Amazon is great!

You could get you something small or large. I love their Decade Candy Boxes make fantastic gifts! But I think it really just depends what you're buying for. (:

I think Amazon is a good place to buy books. They have a great selection and are usually cheaper.

I love Amazon! My best friend works for them, so I always joke with her that I help her keep her job by all the stuff I buy on there. ;) They have such a wide selection - and most often have the best price than anywhere else, so you can't go wrong with whatever you do decide to get. Pick something that you either want or need... you should be able to find just about anything! ;)

I use to use it a few years ago. I haven't for awhile. I use to get books, cd's, and dvd's. Good luck with deciding what to get! :) Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by my recipe post! :)

Depending on the amount of the gift certificate, I would go for a Kindle. They are down to $112.00. I love mine, have had it since the beginning. I hope we never see the demise of "real" books but the Kindle has made so much accessible to me and is so good for travel, reading in bed, and accessibility.

How much is it for? I have been shopping on Amazon for years. Your needs are entirely different than mine, so it would be hard for me to answer this question for ya! But since you can get pretty much anything there, I would either get something I've been wanting for a long time but didn't want to splurge on, or hold onto it and watch their daily deals for something awesome. Have fun shopping!

Sure! You can buy anything you want. I guess just see what you need first. Maybe a digital camera? or Flip video camera? DVD?
