Fab Hot Dogs

My whole family enjoys watching Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.  My dad happened to see a hot dog place on the show called Fab Hot Dogs in Reseda.  The owner traveled the world checking out how other people ate hot dogs.  They sell about 15 kinds of hot dogs, 10 kinds of burgers, and all of the sides to go with them!

I was worried the line was really long...but it was really just the two guys you can see right inside the door.

This is my bacon wrapped hot dog.  It was delicious!  (I added mayo to it)

My dad was daring and ordered a Mexicali dog.  It had guacamole, sour cream, grilled onions and spicy adobo sauce.  He said it was really hot!

Look at how crisp those french fries look!

I really enjoyed Fab Hot Dogs.  I would love to go back and order something a bit more daring like the Breakfast Dog or The Ripper.

Oh, my. You found heaven.

They look delish! And I never thought about guac on a hot dog. I mean, I love it on burgers, so why not??

Fabulous stuff!

My favorite is a chili cheese dog.

I loved hot dogs as a teen but don't eat them much now. My husband likes to get the ones at Costco and puts tons of saurkraut on them. His dad used to make homemade saurkraut but I am not a fan.
