Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. Thanks to Kailani at An Island Life for starting this fun for Friday. I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog . Please be sure to head over to her blog to say hello and sign the Mr. Linky there if you are participating.
My question is:
Do you pay for car washes or wash your car yourself? If you do pay, how much does it cost?
I just paid $17 and my car still has some dirt and ash left on it. I'm not thrilled!

I have 3 teens, we wash the cars ourselves. ;)
When I bother to wash my car (I'm cheap) I use the free wash that I get with my oil change.
I usually go to the do it yourself ones. It's like $5
We was our van at home and the car at the car wash.
I have claustrophobia, but my husband takes our cars to the car wash, he is a nut about it.

I usually pay for a car wash because I'm short and I have a pretty tall truck and frankly...I'm lazy LoL.
I pay $7 for a full car wash when I fill up at a local gas station.

OH sister...do you think I'm going to get my hands dirty? LOL. All kidding aside I always take my car to get it washed...at least twice a year LOL That's one task I can't be bothered with. My car goes as well dirty as it does clean the way I look at it. And I think it's right around 10 dollars. It's been so long I can't remember :)
I'm supposed to wash my car?
I'm ashamed to say that it probably gets washed once a year for $5 at an auto wash.
My hubby washes the cars himself usually, but sometimes we go through an automatic car wash because the kids love it!
My hubby is anal retentive with car cleaning so he does all the washes, waxes, and cleaning. I think it is $20 around here for the car wash. Aloha and take care.

I don't have a car right now... but when I did, I would pay about 15$ to get it washed inside and out.
My hubby washes the car for us lately. But sometimes we'll go through the automatic car wash. It costs about $7.

I always go thru the automatic car wash and I get the best wash and blow dry, it cost $11 - $13 depending upon where I go.
I've got two boys that will do it for free! Give them a hose and soap and they are happy to play in the water. OK now the car doesn't get that clean but it's cool. Some dirt removal is better than none. lol
for the most part i do it myself and it usually works out cause the kids get to play around outside while clean. if i do get it done i do it at the same time and place as my oil change.
We take it to the car wash and pay $5, which includes free vacuum.
I'm about half and half on the car washing. Summer time---I wash my own car; in the winter time (brrrrrrr!) I'll gladly pay $12 bucks to get all that road salt and grime off my baby!
No problem-O!
I use to have it washed in the parking garage while I worked. It is $24 for exterior and interior detailing. I have since cut that from my budget and the outside of my car is showing it badly. I will probably run through the local car wash and do an exterior only wash of $5 tomorrow morning.
If I could wash it myself I would but there isn't a place to do it at my apartment complex.
I pay to go through the automatic
$6.00
I wash it myself, it gives me an excuse to dance around in my bikini for the neighbors...
just kidding ;)
