All of a sudden two men on bicycles rode past us and said "Oh what a cool _____". Grrrrr. I was so intrigued by the mystery of this bird and they knew exactly what it was.
So I ask all of you...do you know what bird this is? Am I the only one in the dark? Stay turned for the answer tomorrow.

Great sighting, your bird is a Great Blue heron!
We have one of these on the golf course and i never remember...but i think Eileen had it = Great Blue Heron
I have no idea but I am sure my 11 year old would know, she's a total science and animal whiz.
I belive it is a Sandhills cran :) not 100% sure but pretty...
