ReUsies Review and Giveaway

I was so excited when I discovered ReUsies.  I am always looking for ways to be "greener", and this was something I had never heard of before!!!  Who knew you could use reusable baggies instead of plastic, throwaway ones???

ReUsies are 100% cotton lined with leak resistant nylon and have Velcro closures.  They come in snack size (perfect for chips, crackers, pretzels, grapes etc) and sandwich size (perfect for sandwiches, bagels...or lots of chips!)  They can be hand-washed, put in the dishwasher or washed in the laundry.

"The EPA estimates 500 billion - one trillion plastic bags are used worldwide every year. A typical school/work lunch contains 3-4 plastic sandwich bags each day amounting to upwards of 1,000 each year for one person. These bags will all be around long after we are gone!"

I was so excited when my sample arrived in the mail.  I had been waiting for something like this for years!  The design is absolutely adorable.  They were even larger than I expected them to be.   And of course, they hold my food well!
