I did it! I hit my goal of reading 8 books this month! I wasn't sure if I could do it because I have never read that many books before, but I actually finished early and took the last few days off. Below are links to my reviews if you missed them.
1. Toys by James Patterson
2. Worst Case by James Patterson
3. Veil of Night by Linda Howard
4. Protecting Their Baby by Sheri Whitefeather
5. Treachery in Death by JD Robb
6. Born to Die by Lisa Jackson
7. 1225 Christmas Tree Lane by Debbie Macomber
8. Private by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro
If I had to pick favorites, I would probably pick Veil of Night, Treachery in Death and Private. But all of the books I read were great. I can't wait to see what great books February brings!
Did you read any books in January? If so, which one was your favorite?
Congrats! I read 5 books in January, which is slightly behind pace for me, but one of them was a hefty 700 pages so that's my excuse ;-) My favorite was a historical fiction called Liszt's Kiss - set in the romantic era in Paris, during the time of the plague.
I actually did read the latest Nicholas Sparks. While at the library with this kids I picked it up and eventually checked it out. It was good but as usual, a little sappy.
Wow, 8 is a lot of books! I read Someone Knows My Name by Lawrence Hill for my book club. I highly recommend it!
You do like James Patterson, don't you? ;)
8?! Dang girl! I'm impressed. I hit 4 this past month, and that impressed myself. I am going to check out your reviews of your favorites to get some ideas for this month :)
I should probably set up a goal for myself to read more books, unless of course, we want to throw children's books in there? Because in that case, I would have definitely hit my goals and then some!
Some of the reviews you did on these books makes me want to snuggle up on the couch and read!
WOW - good for you. Since kids, I haven't picked up a book. I just don't have the time.
That is awesome that you made your goal! Congrats!!
I love Patterson's contemporary romances and then his two YA series.
I wish he would write more romances though, he does them so well!
I'm not sure how many I read - I don't keep track - 2 at least I know that :) I'm bookmarking this so when I want a new book to read I have a list!
My gosh, I am totally ashamed to say I read ZERO books this month after you read 8!!
You rock on...that is fab!
Congratulations Becca, I see some titles on your list that I would love to read.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving such a sweet comment on my primitives.
Wow, I haven't picked up a good book in a loooong time.
Some of those titles sound very interesting!
