Promises in Death by J.D. Robb

Yay, book #3 for 2010.  I chose the latest J.D. Robb paperback.  I think Nora Roberts is an excellent author and love her "In Death" series that she writes as J.D. Robb.

This book was great from the beginning.  I had read the first chapter or two at the end of her last book so I knew what the main storyline was going to be.  Without ruining anything, a cop is killed and that's what the book is about.

If you like Nora Roberts and like murder mysteries, this book will not disappoint.

P.S. Much like 2s...3s are hard to draw.  Also, check out the book list I put on my sidebar with the help of a new bloggy friend :)

P.P.S I forgot to blog about this book when I finished it...and am almost halfway through a new one :)

I used to be such an avid reader before I had kids and now, I blog. I just can't find the time for both, but this looks like a good read!

And thanks so much for the follow from Follow Friday...I am having GFC issues and unable to sign in right now (it's me not you) soon as I can, I'll return the follow. At least I know where I can find you!

Look forward to blogging with you!

Hey, there. Casey from www.thestarnesfam.com here.

A couple of questions.

Do you have a less than PR friendly blog? If so, I'm intrigued.

We vacation in San Diego often....love southern California!

I'm trying to read 30 books this year. Do you have a goal? Saw that this is #3 for the year.

I've never read anything by this author. I need to look them up at paperbackswap. I just ordered the boo Sharp Objects yesterday. I've heard so many good things about it. Have you read it?

& thank you for the follow. I am a follower of yours as well!

& I'm sure you could come up with that many things about yourself! It actually isn't as hard as even I thought it was going to be! (& to answer your question, there aren't even 20,000 in my entire county of eight towns.)

I went to school with Nora. (She was called Ellie then.) I saw her a few years ago on a book tour--a very nice person.

coming back from your comment on my blog. I went to school with her when we were young--6th through 9th grades. Her given name is Eleanor. So now she goes by Nora. When I asked her about her name she laughed and said only her mother calls her Ellie.
