The basics:
Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)
This week’s theme is: New Beginnings
Woohoo, it's New Years!I have some resolutions
Can I keep them all?

You must keep them all
Resolutions are just that
Try hard and succeed
I need a new door
Because I slammed my old one
Coming in from cold.
Happy New Year! Hope 2010 is a good one for you. I'm sure you can keep some resolutions as long as they're not too unrealistic - make lots and that way you're sure to keep at least one of them!

Haha, I think we're all in the same boat, my friend! I just made the ones I knew I would keep (live, love, laugh and sing)
Happy New Year!
So true and very clever!
I love that you started with Woohoo! :) Good luck keeping all of your resolutions. You can do it!
What a cute idea! I may just have to come up with a Haiku for today.
Good luck with the resolutions!
I'm so over the whole resolution thing. Haven't made them in years- I think the pressure of it being a "resolution" dooms it to failure.
