More DVR problems...Idol didn't record tonight. For those of you who use a DVR, do you check it each day to make sure it's set to record properly? (Idol had recorded fine every night up until tonight)
Oh no. I have had this happen to me too. I go and record all of the shows on MOndays. Then I check it each day to see what is suppose to be on. I do try to do this when I think about it. I know the pain..
Oh boo hoo!!! I get so pissed off when mine doesn't work. Ummm a couple of things. If you go TVGuide Video you should be able to see videos of last nights shows. I get them in my reader all the time as I subscribe to TVGuide. Also when I have a problem with my DVR like that I unplug the DVR from the wall, leave it out for a couple of minutes and then plug it back in and let it reboot. Nine times out of ten that will correct the problem that it has encountered. Hope this helps :)
I do not check and when I get burned (doesn't record a really loved show), the devastation is really over the top. Like, seriously, I'm crying over Lost not taping? Well, yes, because sometimes it's the smallest thing that causes you to fall apart, isn't it??? :)
We've only had problems with our DVR if the electricity went out. Or one time there was a problem with Direct TV. They sent a "we're sorry" message and we said, "That doesn't get us the season finale of Chuck back." We got five dollars off a month for a year, but we'd rather of seen the season finale.

We don't have DVR. My best friend tapes the shows I like and that gives me an excuse to go over, lol.
